Where have you been hiding
Does it feel safer just to pace
In that same old stolid place
You’ve come to know

There’s a deeper knowing
That it is just your escape
From the fears that hold you back
From living free

Take your chances while they stare you in the face
Make one movement toward the path you long to tread

Douse those voices in your mind that block the way
One step forward brings the next step to the light

I’ve seen the passion
In passing glimpses of your eye
As the true you comes out to play
Just like a child.

Nothing you can’t do
When you’re in the flow and on the rise
So hold your head up high
And take the stage

If you can conceive it
You can achieve it
I have seen the ferver
Waiting in you
Impart your gifts to the world

Your place on this earth
was no accident by far
You are a rising star
Doesn’t have to be so hard
